It took him about 4 hours and 20 minutes to do it, but in beating Andy Roddick on Sunday at Wimbledon (5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6, 16-14) Roger Federer now has 15 tennis majors, more than any other man in the history of the sport.

Roddick gave it a massive effort and in congratulating Federer he called him a “true champion.”

“You played unbelievably today,” Federer said to Andy after the match.

And to the crowd in attendance, Federer said: “My head is still spinning and this is an unbelievable feeling. It feels amazing and it’s one of the greatest moments I’ve had in my career.”

Gym Floor Covers – Most customers compare vinyls by weight only. Experts do not. They investigate and select products based on application and specifications. PCI-colors are maintenance friendly- chosen by experts to conceal dirt. Gym Floor Covers require ingredients which resist abrasion, rips, tears, dirt, stains, odor and are flame retardant. PCI covers were designed with this in mind. Many different strengths are available. Mobile Storage Racks – Using one of PCI’s mobile storage rack system enables two people to install or retrieve a full court cover in about thirty minutes. To install, roll the rack to one corner of the area to be covered and pull out the first cover section. Roll the rack to the edge of that section (overlapping sections six to twelve inches is recommended) and lay the second section. Repeat until surface is covered:

After cleaning, the cover is removed by attaching the last section installed to one of the bottom roller tubes and winding it up, using the hand cranks provided (or use our optional power winder). Move to the next sections and repeat.

There are four basic functions for tennis windscreens The first function is for the control of the wind. A tennis ball is very light and when playing outdoors the wind can cause havoc with the flight of the ball. By utilizing windscreens, you can cut that distraction down considerably over what no wind screening would afford. The second basic function of windscreen would be creating a dark background, so the player can pick up the sight of the ball better. There have been many studies on which colors are best for this. The general consensus of opinion is that thtennis e darker the windscreens the better the background is for the player. The third function of court windscreens is the privacy that windscreens affords the players. Most tennis windscreens are at least 70% opaque. That translates into vision blockage that allows players to concentrate on their games, and not on what might be happening around them. It also affords the club an ability to keep prying eyes away from whatever they do not want seen. The last tennis windscreen function is beautification of the courts and the club. It also allows for the club to utilize signage, either to advertise something, or to promote something. There are three generally accepted materials that are used for tennis windscreens. They include polypropylene, polyethylene, and vinyl coated polyester. Each of these materials has both advantages and disadvantages. The least expensive of the three is polyethylene. It usually comes in rolls and the people on site cut the rolls to size. This product has great U.V. protection. The disadvantage is that the material has no memory. If a stiff wind were to blow it out of shape, it would never return to its original shape. Also, because it is cut in the field, there is no factory installed hems or grommets. Polypropylene is the next most inexpensive material. Lumite was the first product ever sold as a windscreen. The polypro windscreen is most popular in the western part of the country. It has a tendency to grey as it ages, and will run if cut because it has no rip stop in the material. Air vents are usually factory installed for this reason. Rectangles are cut out of the windscreens and then reinforced so as not to rip. The third material used is vinyl coated polyester. This material comes in many colors. It is the only windscreen that will accept signage. VCP has a bofar stitch usually in each cell which diffuses the wind. It also comes with a rip stop in the material. The end user should look for at least three ply hems, and grommet spacing of not more than two feet apart. A limited warrantee is usually included of at least three years
